Campervan conversions
Can I just have one part done, like insulation or a solar panel?
Yes. Each service can be booked on its own, and plenty of customers build in stages.
Are your prices fixed?
They're guide prices with labour included. Your written quote confirms the final figure for your van.
How do payments work?
We normally ask for a deposit of 40–50% up front to cover materials. On smaller jobs you pay the balance when the work is finished. Full conversions are billed with partial payments at the end of each month, and the final payment is due on completion.
Can you design something that isn't on the price list?
Yes. Custom electrical systems, bespoke beds and kitchens, and other one-off requests are all welcome. Just get in touch.
Do I need to bring the van to Kendal?
Yes, the work is done at our workshop in Kendal, Cumbria, a few minutes from the M6.
Do you offer a warranty on the work?
Yes. Our conversion workmanship is covered for a full year after completion. Parts carry their own supplier warranties, which are often three years or more.
Can you work on a van I've already started converting?
Usually, yes. Tell us what's been done and we'll check whether our packages can fit around it.
Can I choose carpet on the walls and cladding on the roof?
Yes. Cladding is priced as an upgrade to the standard and XL line-outs.
My van is longer than 3.2m. How is it priced?
XL work is charged per extra metre, for example £300 per metre for the XL line-out, so a 4.2m van comes to £2,000.
Which battery size do I need?
That depends on what you'll run and how long you'll stay off-grid. Tell us your appliances and we'll recommend a package.
Can I add solar later?
Yes. Solar kits are priced separately and can be added to an existing system.
Do you fit solar on pop-top roofs?
Yes. Our 240W semi-flexible kit is designed to be compatible with pop-tops.
Can you change the sizes shown?
Yes. We build cabinetry to measure, so we can adjust the sizes to suit your van.
Will a bike fit under the fixed bed?
Yes. It's designed to be high and long enough for bikes with the front wheel removed.
What's Hex board?
It's a hard-wearing, textured board that we use in the garage area, where gear gets loaded in and out.
Can I have a skylight and a roof fan?
Yes. They're priced separately, so you can combine them to suit your roof.
Will the reversing camera need a new screen?
No. A slim screen mounts on the windscreen, and a USB adapter is included.
